north AL

We have made the short pilgrimage to North AL once again! The purpose of this visit is to celebrate Father's Day with Daniel's dad. (and to eat all the awesome food we are always served up here!! shhh!! don't tell!) For lunch, we consumed massive T-bones hot off the grill and fresh blackberry pie from the berries he grows behind the barn. It's so pleasant up here in the foothills of the Smokies....the sun is setting, the air is thin, and relaxation is seeping into our bones....but wi-fi is sketchy, so my posts may be few and far between for the next few days!
